2018 Archery Victoria AGM Review

The 2018 Archery Victoria Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday 1st December at the Caulfield Town Hall Auditorium.

A big ‘Thank You’ goes out to the 16 clubs who were represented at the AGM. These clubs were :

Angel Archers Diamond Valley Archers Frankston Archery Club Geelong Archers
Greater Hamilton Archers Heidelberg Archers North Eastern Archers Phoenix Archery Club
Phillip Island Target Archers Sherbrooke Archers Southern Cross Archery Club Wangaratta Archers
Waverley City Archers Werribee Archers Yarra Bowmen Yering Bowmen

An election was conducted for the 3 Executive Board roles available, being Board Member 2, Board Member 4, and the Members Representative position. All 3 positions were declared vacant upon the resignations of Brendan Jones, Alec Potts, and Alan Howell respectively – and the new Board thanks them all for their service.

Our congratulations go out to the 2 members who nominated for Board positions and were successful, being Deb Jones (GHA) and Robyn Mortimer (PAC).

We wish them all well in helping to develop and grow the sport of Archery in Victoria over the coming year.

2 presentations were given after the elections and meeting were officially completed – one from Meghan Densley from Sports Community about the upcoming Club Spot programme, and one from Margot Foster about the ongoing Governance Review.
