Archery Victoria Policy 0491 – State Team Guidelines – and its appendices outline the requirements, timings, and conditions for selection to all Victorian State Teams.
AV has a State Team Selection Committee in place who run this process, and also provide recommendations to the AV Board in relation to the selection of athletes.
Given the current circumstances, the policy/appendices as they relate to State Team selections for the 2020 National Indoor Championships and the 2020 National Championships will not be used this year.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding these events, Archery Victoria will wait for confirmation from Archery Australia of when or if the deferred events will go ahead, and in what format.
The State Team Selection Committee will then recommend revised selection procedures to the AV Board for consideration.
Once approved, these guidelines will be reissued and released to the public.
