Step 2.

Enter 4 x Target Round Scores in either a 1440 round or a 720 round.

  • All scores must be of RED Classification or higher when shot (They may degrade below red and still count).
  • Scores must be shot at a QRE or Tournament.
  • At least one of the ‘included’ scores must be shot at Registered Tournament.
  • At least one RED score must shot at maximum distance in either a 1440 or double 720 round. NOTE: 144 arrows must be shot on that day.
  • Target ratings degrade by two (2) rating points every 30.4 days.
  • Where an archer shoots a round that is “above” their current age division, the score rating will be used.
  • Average target score ratings are converted into scores that relate to the rounds for the age division that the archer will be shooting at the NYAC.

Step 3.

Enter 2 x 24 Target Marked Field Scores

  • Both scores must be of RED Classification or higher when shot (They may degrade below red and still count)
  • Scores must be shot at a QRE or Tournament.
  • At least one of the ‘included’ scores must be shot at Registered Tournament.
  • Field ratings degrade by two (2) rating points every 30.4 days.

Step 4.

Enter 2 x Clout Scores

  • Both scores must be of RED Classification or higher when shot (They may degrade below red and still count)
  • Scores can be shot at Tournaments OR VQREs.
  • Clout scores degrade by five (5) points every 30.4 days.
  • Clout scores are used as raw scores only, whether an archer has shot in their current division or at a greater distance. There is no rating conversion of scores shot at longer distances.
  • The average Clout score is converted into scores that relate to the rounds for the age division that the archer will be shooting at the NYAC.

*** Scores registered at the State Clout Championships on 23 February 2020 can be used for qualification purposes.***

NOTES

  • Where an archer shoots a round that is “below” their current age division, the score rating will not be used. Clout scores shot at shorter distances are not used.
  • All ranking scores are weighted to the events to be held at the NYAC in question. In 2020 this is not yet confirmed but is likely to be:
    • 1 x 1440 for the archers division – based on average target rating.
    • 1 x 720 for the archers division – based on average target rating
    • 1 x Field Round for the archers division – based on average field rating.
    • 1 x clout – based on average clout score

THE FINAL RANKING LIST IS CALCULATED USING A TOTAL OF THE FOUR SCORES DETAILED IN THE LIST ABOVE.

Good Luck to all nominees.
