AV Para Development Day

Sport & Recreation Victoria – through Archery Victoria and supported by the host range AIM Archery Club – will be conducting an Archery Victoria Para Development Day.

It is planned to be an enjoyable and informative morning with the archery being predominantly blank butt so that safe, repeatable, and stable form is the focus rather than becoming pre-occupied with the score.

We will have coach Deb Popov-Conroy supported by Brendan Jones leading archers in developing a safe and reliable shot process using Archery Australia coaching principals, and Brendan will also be working with the archers, agents, & support person on other aspects of tournament archery to support the archers.

This is also an opportunity to catch up/meet more Vic based Para archers – so there is a social aspect as a goal also in running these activities so you are with good friends when you go to tournaments in the future.

If you know any Archery Victoria registered archers who are likely to achieve classification then please pass on the event details to them so they can consider joining us.

Subsidies for this activity will keep participant cost down to only $12.50 each.

September, Sunday 17th from 9am until 12 midday (I think we could then roll on over to DFO to have a bite of lunch together)
