Victorian Teams named for National Indoor Championships 2024

Victorian RGB Teams – National Indoor Championships July 6/7 2024
What a fabulous build up to the National and State Indoor Championships. Over the last two months many of our archers have been putting in the hard work and submitting their scores for selection for the Victorian RGB teams. The competition has been fierce. In each of the divisions (Senior Recurve, Senior Compound, Barebow, Junior Recurve and Junior Compound) we have seen the top four changing as scores are recorded. “I just need a couple of extra points tonight to get in front of xxx” was heard over and over. The incentive was there, and many stepped up to the line to strive to be better.
Even better was the amount of participation we have seen, with a number of archers putting in scores for consideration for the first time. Just seeing our names up there has been a huge thrill for many of us.
Congratulations and well done to all who have worked hard and had a go. We look forward to seeing some great scores shot at the Championships.
Overarching the top scores has been the criteria set by Archery Australia for the final selection of our teams. The RGB teams will be competing against the other RGB teams to see which state/RGB will come out on top. This means that the selection criteria need to even out the playing field for us all. The AA criteria are noted below against each RGB team.
