2023 Australian Masters Games
The 19th Australian Masters Games (2023) have been run and won in Adelaide, South Australia this year with many Victorian archers not only competing with, but beating the best the other states have to offer.
Held from the 8th to the 13th of October the event offered competitions in all archery disciplines – it was a week long archery feast for all who attended.
The schedule was Indoor (8/10), Target 900 (9/10), Clout (10/10), a well deserved day off (11/10), 3D Field (12/10), and finally Marked Field (13/10).
Our amazing Victorian cohort took out an impressive 29 Gold medals, 24 Silver medals, & 20 Bronze medals for the event – WOW!
A special shout out to Gerard Middendorp who took a clean sweep of Gold medals for all 5 events in the Male Recurve 70+ division. Well Done, Gerry !!
More importantly to most archers – they had an amazing time – caught up with friends – and enjoyed the hell out of what Adelaide had to offer!
A wonderful outcome regardless of the placings achieved, and well done to you all.
